I know it is selfish, but I am so sick of this getting shoved in my face for my birthday (today). The same documentaries year after year, the fact I lost someone in the attack, keep getting reminded of them for my Birthday… I mean really. I find it insulting to their memory that this is still being beaten like a dead horse 11 years later.
I am truly sorry your birthday has a terrible black mark on it, but 3,000 people will never have a birthday again, light a candle for those who have left us, and light a candle to celebrate that you are still breathing and able to celebrate.
